About Us

  • God is a restorer. From the moment sin entered the world, sin marred the image of God; sin severed humanity's relationship with God; sin created discord amongst neighbors. God then began the process of taking what was broken and piecing it back together - for the sake of His glory. To that end, we, Restoration Community Church (RCC) desire to join in the restorative work of God in our midst.

  • We see that restoration occurs in two dimensions. First vertically, through the atoning work of Jesus Christ on the cross, God has reformed our relationship with him. Because of Jesus, we can be reconciled to God in relationship and adopted in his family. We at RCC desire to point people to his goodness and guide them along that path towards reunion with God. We want to love God more fully and empower others to do the same.

Second, horizontally, humanity was created to be in relationship with one another. However, humanity has time and time again chosen the path of selfishness. We want to see the image of God esteemed in one another. This goes beyond mere relationships and also seeks to address systems that have disproportionately harmed fellow image bearers. We at RCC desire to see humanity reconciled to one another and to the creation that we have been entrusted to steward on behalf of God. We want to love our neighbor as ourselves and empower others to do the same.

  • We are a community; we do not pursue this task alone. We believe we are connected to one another, and it is through the bonds of fellowship and camaraderie that we embark on this noble calling.

  • We are a church. We exist for the glory and praise of God and seek to magnify his name. As we join with God’s restoring work in the world, we are not able to accomplish it by the power of our hands. We do this as a body of believers who seek to be used by the Holy Spirit of God to accomplish his purposes in our neighborhood and beyond.
